Welcome to our new blog! We are so excited to share everything that’s been going on! As some of you may know, Kenny Phan Photography and Vanessa Lam Photography have merged into one, becoming Phan Photography. We’ve been putting all of our focus on the new brand, new web site, new blog and new services that we’ll be offering, so hopefully we’ll be able to provide you with an even better experience for your photography and wedding needs!
We recently did a baby portrait session for a super cute family in Beverly Hills and it couldn’t have come at a better time. We are so excited to have portraits of baby Jack (and his beautiful parents) grace our first blog post! Baby Jack and our own baby boy, Kyle had the same expected due date – crazy, right? What are the chances? They both decided they didn’t want to share the same birthday though, and ended up arriving on different dates. I thought that was pretty crazy and interesting to share. Here are some of our favorites from the session.
Angie and Jeff – they are one of the most down to earth, sweetest and cutest couple we’ve met.
We encourage and love it when our couples suggest the type of shots they want to include in their session – this was one of them. I love Jack’s expression in these!!

Baby Jack was really fun to photograph because he kept following our camera. Most of the shots we got has him looking straight at us! I love his baby fat rolls! I really have a thing for baby fat rolls and friends of mine who have babies are always telling me to not eat their kid. Nom nom nom…how can anyone resist?!
What do babies think about?
He’s cute even when he’s got a pouty lip! It’s hard being a baby!
So angelic. He was taking a break – a nap that lasted for maybe five minutes, and then he popped up again for the camera!
