Redondo Beach, CA – Nancy and Mike’s Engagement

What was supposed to be a cold and rainy Sunday turned into a bright and sunny day for our couple, Nancy & Mike. The day couldn’t have been better – we had steamed dungeness crabs, fresh oysters, churros, funnel cake, and ended up shooting one of the steamiest engagement sessions to date. Nancy and Mike are so cute together, funny and super easy to get along with which made the session so much fun. Thanks guys, for the coffee and a wonderful time at the beach! :)

Jen and Andy are so cute and so in love! They were so sweet to each other the entire time which made the session fun and easy to shoot. Bonelli Park – Wattey & Rothana’s Engagement

We are always so blessed with having the cutest, sweetest and most loving couples to photograph! We met Wattey and Rothana last year and couldn’t have been more excited to finally photograph their engagement session. They’re a fun, easy going couple who love the outdoors, so we headed out to Bonelli Park in San Dimas. We had so much fun! This park had everything we envisioned – a huge lake, a mini man-made beach, hiking trails, tall grasses, hills, wooded areas and even several fishing/boating docks alongside the lake.

Their wedding is coming up in October and we absolutely cannot wait for their 2 day celebration! Below are some of our favorites from the session. Enjoy!

Cal Poly Pomona Japanese Garden – Michelle & Long’s Engagement

We had another great engagement session with Michelle and Long as we went back to our Alma Mater, Cal Poly Pomona (we actually both graduated the same year, same major and same day but we didn’t know each other back then). The Japanese Garden used to be a duck pond and going back to Cal Poly felt like a whole new world with so many changes and upgrades. A great location and a beautiful couple made for an awesome session. Check out our few favorites from Michelle and Long’s engagement session.

Huntington Beach, CA – Margarita & Lamgee’s Engagement

This session was definitely one of our favorites! We had a super gorgeous couple, awesome golden lighting and a beautiful and empty beach. Margarita and Lamgee are not only beautiful – they are down to earth, fun, loving and brave! You can’t tell from the photos, but we were all freezing our butt off during the session. Margarita and Lamgee braved the cold for a couple of hours and even played in the water for us. Despite the freezing winds and getting tar stuck in their toes and under their feet, we all had a blast! Here are some of our faves from the steamy session:

It’s time to get warmed up. They’re really athletic and play volleyball together in a co-ed team. They’re totally made for each other.

Griffith Park & Observatory – Lindy & Art’s Engagement

Lindy and Art is such a cute couple! They both have such a great sense of humor and made the e-session so much fun. They got us giggling during most of the session. They are such a fun and loving couple, making this photo session such an easy one for us. :) We’ve been looking forever for a field with lots of wild flowers and tall grasses. We never realized how beautiful some parts of the Griffith Observatory is. This is probably one of the best time of the year to pay a visit to Griffith Park and Observatory. It’s definitely one of the favorite spots for photographers. The wild flowers are in full bloom, the weather is nice and cool and the soft sunlight around the early evening make for some awesome photos. Below are a few of our faves from the session.

Los Angeles Union Station – Jen & Danny’s Engagement

It’s pretty amazing how fast time flies and how things turn out. One year ago, before we had any clue or experience with wedding photography we had ask Jen and Danny to be our test models for our very first “engagement session”. They were actually officially engaged and was super supportive and brave enough to go through with our idea. One year later, we figured we had to redo their engagement photos after one whole year of experience and shooting various weddings, engagements and portraits. Not to mention we will have the honor of capturing their big special day next month. This would be a great opportunity for us to freshen up and prep for the wedding day.

Here are a few photos captured at Jen and Danny’s engagement session #2.
